The next few years will show increased demand of multimedia experts, savvy in mixing word, sound, pictures and animation for internet, CD-Rom or DVD formats, and open hundreds of thousands of creative jobs all across Europe. A range of colleges, workshops and courses guarantee a high education level among Austrian multi-media specialists.

At EU level, additional training possibilities exist and are promoted under the umbrella of the MEDIA Program. Training in management, screenwriting and new technology is offered. The budget of approx. 50 million Euro (USD 43.1 million) is stretched out over a five-year period.
